Actors

I photograph a lot of actors. Either as headshot sessions at my studio, for commissioned editorial work or as part of my ongoing Theatre photography projects.

Working with actors is a constant dialogue, a collaborative process that pushes my creative boundaries. Their ability to embody diverse characters, to inhabit different skins and emotions, challenges me to find unique visual interpretations. I strive to capture not just their likeness, but the spark of imagination that fuels their performances.

The energy of the creative process, shared with actors, is infectious. Their vulnerability, their dedication to their craft, and their willingness to experiment inspire me to push my own artistic limits. I learn from their intuitive understanding of character, their ability to find nuance in seemingly ordinary gestures, and their fearless exploration of emotional landscapes.

Through this collaborative journey, I aim to create portraits that are more than just images; they are windows into the soul of the actor, reflections of their inner lives and the transformative power of performance.
